More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics

A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has gone beyond one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which Drug prevention aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.

Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.

The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Full details about the campaign can be found here: Italy’s Drug Prevention Campaign Surpasses One Million Booklets Distributed in One Month.
